The BGS Experience
Beltway Golf Society combines individual and team competition in one round. Each competition window features one designated course, while members choose the tee time that works for their schedule.
HOLES 1–9
THE TURN
HOLES 10–18
Individual Front 9
Team Back 9
Same round. Different competition.
At the turn, your score starts counting for your club: the Golden Bears or the Long Johns. You still play your own ball, scored as Team Net Stableford. Club results from each window build the season record toward the Team Belt.
Your round. Your score. Your race for the belt.
The front nine is Individual Net Stableford. Every golfer plays their own ball, handicap strokes are applied hole by hole, and your points count toward the season-long Individual Standings and the race for the Individual Belt.
Different Games.
Same Competition.
You don't have to be a scratch golfer to compete in BGS. Handicaps level the field so golfers of different abilities can compete meaningfully throughout the season, while gross scores and performance stats still recognize the strongest golf.
HANDICAPPED COMPETITION
Your handicap keeps the season competitive across different skill levels.
GROSS PERFORMANCE
Great golf still gets recognized through gross scoring, stats and season awards.
LIVE STANDINGS
Individual and team results build throughout the season, giving every competition window something to play for.
